I couldn't find any topics about this, so I started one.
I'm in preproduction on a short film that's gonna be shot with 2 DVX100a's, very Casavettes-styles as the director likes to put it. It's gonna be all hand-held, lots of dialogue, and improvy.
My question is: What is the best way to record audio on two separate cameras so when we cut it, we can use camera A's master shot, and then seamlessly cut Camera B's CLOSE UP and have the audio be as crisp as Camera A's shot. Should we use a clapper and then synch in post? Should we use camera A as our master audio track?
Any advice and tips would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
