Is it possible to record external video into the hvx?
I'm wanting to digitise some video onto dv tape.
If the HVX can do this what do i need to do?
Cheers

It will only digitize in Tape mode but functions exactly the same as the DVX. All you need to do is connect your source to the sterio line in and composite or s-vid connectors (the component connector must not be plugged in). Switch the camera to Tape Mode, turn on the power, then switch the camera to VCR mode. Press the two REC buttons on top of the camera or press the record buttons on the wireless remote. You should see your incoming video on the lcd and you will be recording that signal to your Mini-DV tape. It's all covered in your manual under Connecting External Devices.
