Recording a band outside a cafe

Aight my friend is playing outside a small cafe and i'm gonna film it. I really want the best audio i can get given what i have. Band consists of 4 members ...3 acoustic guitars and one drum( not like a drum set...its a wierd drum...looks like a box). All they are doing is plugging into amplifyers and playing for a small cafe gathering. One lead singer...well one singer period.

Tools

Dvx100b
Sennheiser wireless g2
Okatava mk012- 3 capsules
Rode ntg2 shotgun
30ft xlr

I got all these mics quite recently and still am very new to it...so this is my thoughts as a newbie.
Wireless on the lead to get his vocals and his guitar, and oktava with cardiod capsule( so as to get minimal sound from the patrons behind the mic) on a mic stand feeding into dvx though 30ft xlr, pointed at the band to cover them.

I could be totally off base, so i do appreciate your help
thank you,

Darren.

Honestly, acoustic sets like that on the street are much better served by one mic. I'd go with the Oktava/cardioid on a stand slightly overhead and just a bit in front. If the only amplification they have comes from guitar amps, and they are used to street-side performances like this, they'll have themselves pretty well balanced. So use the one mic, and make sure to get some sound check time with them beforehand to make sure that your mic placement and their balance are playing well together.

For three guitars, a cajon, and vocals, you should get a pretty good sound.

btw thanks for educating me on the cajon...when i first saw it i was like..."the heck iz this?!" very kool drum in the right hands
