Yesterday I recorded some footage on a hpx300 in 720p 50. I was trying to playback it today on a hvx200 but it just dont recodnice the format. Does hpx300 have another dvcpro codec or something?/ Joel

Which REC FORMAT setting did you use?
Hpx300 can record 720-50P in AVC-Intra100/50 codecs, too.
If REC FORMAT was set to AVC-I100/50P or AVC-I50/50P you cannot playback your clips on a camera like the Hvx200 because it works with DV/DVCPRO codecs only.

...and if you did use "regular" DVCPro-HD, the HVX200 has to be set to that same mode - 720p 50. Even the 300 will not play back footage from one mode to another if the camera is not set to be in the mode the footage was shot with (hope I'm being clear here.)

Yea, I did have the hvx200 set the same mode so it must have been set to AVC-Intra100. I was testing out a mosqutio system so i didnt care to wiev the settings to much. Ok thanks, usallly I work on the hvx200 so i didn't know about the avc-100 intra. Next time im going to pay good attention to the settings better.

Cheers!

I noticed that the 300 defaults to AVC-100 when you switch modes... that must be what you recorded with.
