GH2 Record trigger: external button in wooden handle?

I have made a wooden handle for my shoulder rig, somewhat like the old Aaton handgrip, and am looking to incorporate a record start/ stop button into it.

Does anybody know what the circuit requirements are for an external record trigger for the GH2 please? Thanks
