recommended tempature?

theres a recommended storage tempature listed as 59F-77F. When i think "storage" i think of that as recommended tempature for long term. anyone have any links that could direct me to what tempature elements the camera can safely handle, shorter term. A few hours or less.
I'm in Chicago and its already dropping to 30F, Id like to know what my limits for outside filming are.

Your camera won't have problems lower than that, just keep you batteries warm, and watch for condensation when you come back inside, let it sit for at least an hour before running it again.
