I thought I might start a thread to compare what settings you guys and others are generally shooting with, especially in the areas of coring, gamma, knee, v detail and matrix. Any suggestions much appreciated!:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Gamma- Cinelike_D for most things, Cinelike_V for studio or flat scenes that need a little kick in the pants.

Matrix- Cinelike for most things (w/-2 Chroma), Normal (W/ 0 Chroma) for a less saturated look or less noise in under lit scenes. Fluro (W/-1 Chroma) for office or store interiors lit by florecents.

happy hunting.

V detail 0, I don't know if this effects HD or not.
Coring +3 always, good balance of sharpness and noise control.
Knee is set to auto in the Cine matricies so not much to choose.

I'm not Barry or Jarred, but here are the settings I have been using so far (it's been less than a week). This is what I've done based on what I've read and played with.

I am primarily shooting indoors at 720p/24pn

Operation Type: Film Cam
Frame Rate: 24 Frame
Syncro Scan: 180.0d
Detail Level: -2
V Detail Level: +2
Detail Coring: +3
Chroma Level - 1
Chroma Phase: 0
Color Temp: 0
Master Ped: -4
A. Iris Level: -2
News Gamma: Off (not editable)
Gamma: CineLike V
Knee: Auto (not editable)
Matrix: CineLike
Skin Tone DTL: Off
V Detail Freq: Thin (not editable)

I set this up as a custom scene file (F3).

I'd love to hear suggestions or thoughts,

Chris
