recommendations for setting up website

I'm not terribly web savvy but I want to try to set up a web site to promote a film I just completed. I purchased a domain name from GoDaddy. But now I'm at a loss as to how to set up a web site using the domain name I just purchased.

Of course I'd be looking for something with simple to use templates, where I could post a trailer and clips, etc.

Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

Use Wordpress to set it up now you've got a domain. It's free!

There's lots of tutorials on the website that can help you out.

Wordpress will give you more options than some of the other sites. What ever you don't use Godaddys website tonite, it's rubbish. Mostly you'll be embedding code on the page to link to vimeo, youtube and the like.

Of course if you have some funds to spare you could get someone to set it up for you, it's way easier than it used to be but some of the stuff can be a little tricky. Let me know and I'll hook you up with some WordPress gurus.

Thanks to all for your help. I really appreciate all the suggestions. Just to let you know, I settled on Weebly because I found it significantly more user-friendly and easier to customize than the several other sites I tried. The instructions were clear, responses from support quick and helpful. The site is up and looks great. http://www.talkshowthemovie.com I embedded a video trailer from my vimeo site and it plays just fine, hi-def. One really nice feature of Weebly is that the mobile version is included without any work or setup on your part. I didn't even know I had it until I tried to access the site from my iPhone. It looks good and you can easily switch between the mobile and the regular versions.

Oh--did I mention all this is free? That kind of blows my mind...
