Subject says it all. Looking for a reasonably priced 50mm lens and adapter that would work with the AF100. I only have the 14-140 now and am not as familiar with adapters so any help is appreciated. Many thanks!

I have a Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 lens (ebay- $30), and an ebay FD-m4/3 adapter ($25-30), and have no complaints (are those prices "reasonable"?)

The 50mm f/1.2 is even nicer, at about 6-7 (?) times the price.

I know some have had problems with ebay adapters, but mine fits snug (but not too tight), goes on and off easily, and the lens is in great shape, though I would like to de-click it. HTH.

Thanks groveChuck..gives me something to look at. And yes, those prices are more than "reasonable" lol I was prepared to spend upwards of $500+

i would pick up a used manual nikon 50mm f1.4... they are a really good lenses and are dirt cheap used. just make sure to use a good hood with it.

either the nikon or the Pentax 50 1.4 SMC (one of the BEST 50s IMHO). I have a complete Nikon set, but my 50 is the Pentax. I absolutely love it. (I may be a bit bias though....)

Are you looking for a equivalent to 50MM? If so you would need a 25mm or 35mm. Hate to see ya waste money on the wrong field of view.

A Nikon 50 f1.4 is a very nice lens. I use one I purchased new in 1970 along with with a Rainbow imaging adapter. Paid $29 for the adapter on Ebay. Can buy 10 of them for the cost of the Novoflex, of course, it is not a Novoflex, but it does work just fine. How long it will last is anybody's guess. I bought a second one just in case the first one broke at the wrong moment.
