recommendations for bus powered PORTABLE external hard drive

I plan to use a laptop in the field to download from P2 card and to check footage. Some days will be 10-14 hours without power- just batteries:)) I am looking for an external "backup" drive to take along with me.

I have found these three: all are about the same size, but Gtech is an extra $90, but you get a 2 year warranty. Also i will be using in a hot environment and none of the drives have fans but gtech mentions cooling ridges. Any thoughts?

1) 160 Gig LaCie Rugged All-Terrain Hard Drive:

2)160 gig G Tech G-Drive mini

I'd appreciate any past experiences or recommendations.

Thanks!

Just received a 200GB 7200rpm G-RAID mini this morning.
This is now my portable main disk, bus powered, very fast, tiny, light and with a fan to cool.

I keep looking to where it's sitting beside my laptop, and smiling. It's an amazing little drive. I'm currently working very comfortably doing Shake 2K film compositing with it.

I've also got a pair of LaCie 100GB laCie 7200 ruggeds. These are my 'transfer' drives, ie data to and from clients, scanning houses etc. I usually just throw in a jiffy bag for a courier.
