My MKii arrives on Friday, hopefully will be able to get my Contax and Nikon adapters on the same day if possible.

Im in LA, anyone know where I can order some adapters right now and possibly get them by Friday for testing? I guess the manual control update won't even hit til June 2nd so maybe it's not that big of a deal.

Anyway. thanks for the advice.

LOL. Oh Boy. How many huh?

7 Contax

6 Nikon

Do your Contax Adapters have accurate infinity and close focus?

oh.... I just got 5 contax today but it took a week and a 1/2. The contax have been very good. AF works really well and they hit all the focusing marks.

Yeah i'mma have to go stateside. Week n'a half is too long unfortunately.

I'll see if I can cut a deal with a dealer.

What adapters are you guys using? I have a Kawa and don't know if am as please with it as I thought I was for focusing reasons.

Yeah my kawa does not hit infinity on the nikons...it does on the m42 and Olympus OM. Matter of fact my fotodiox doesn't hit infinity either. Kholi try Haoda, he's stateside and in Cali I believe.

The closest to you would be Cameraquest out in Thousand Oaks. You could call Stephen Gandy and see if you could meet him and get them direct. However, his adapters are not $25.00 e-bay cheapies. Be prepared to pay. Big time. Just got one for my Zeiss ZF 28/2.0. Works like a charm. Good luck.

I have never worked with an adapter before. Why would one need more than one adapter for the same camera? Are they hard to take off the lens, and there fore just easier to buy one for each lens?

Yeah they're pretty difficult to take off the lens. Oddly enough, the Lumix Adapters I have work in an excellent fashion. They actually mount to the camera as if they're the mount/bayonet itself.

That's the first time I've seen that design and I've been looking to see if I could find one similar to that for the MKii.

Otherwise, you have to purchase several. =(

I tried some Roxsen adapters (thanks to Willis C) and I'm going to go with him. Accurate infinity and close-focus for a great price. And he ships fast.

Has anyone used the Haoda adapters with their Nikons, I`m looking at these for my lenses, hoping to not have to switch all my ai nikons for canons. Any feedback on these would be great!

Thanks
