FS7: Recommendation for compact monitoring headphone for FS7

A quick question for the shooters who have to monitor your own sound, what headphone are you using with the fs7?

I found my Senheiser hd25's ear cap too big and doesn't work well with fs7. I can't get the camera on shoulder that easily wearing the headphone and have to push quite hard to balance it well.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I bought a pair of Sony MDR-NC7 Headphones a couple of years ago and they've worked out very well. They're noise canceling and use a single AA battery, but they work passively without the noise function and without the battery if necessary. They fold up and come with a nice drawstring pouch which fits perfectly in my camera case without taking up much room at all. I've even tugged on the cable a few times and they still work great!

The Sennheiser HD-25 mkII doesn't work well with many shoulder cams. Have people tried the Sony MDR-7506 with the FS7? The sound capsule is thinner but still covers the entire ear for decent isolation and are used by many camera operators.

I can tell you I don't recommend Etymotic HF5 in ear monitors. I bought a set becasue of the very same reason - HD25IIs not sitting comfortably when the FS7 is on my shoulder. But the monitoring quality of the HF5 varies wildly because of the way they sit in my ears, leading to a loss of confidence in what's being recorded. I've tried the different ear tips that come with them, but no joy.

Ben.
