Recommend me a simple consumer camera?

My boss wants a simple but good quality camera that he can record 30 to 60 minute long meetings with. I have a nice tripod he can use, and there will probably be some panning, but not a lot. Long battery life + storage capacity (dual SD cards maybe?) is pretty essential. Good lowlight performance as well, as most times there won't be any additional lighting.

Any suggestions? Budget is sub $1k.

[sorry to mods, didn't know where to place this. feel free to move it if necessary]

There is alot of camcorders with the specifications you mentioned (And most with good low light capability) some of which are:

The Panasonic HDC-SD10K (HD)
The Kodak Zi8 ( HD, Also has a mic jack!)
The Samsung SC-HMX10
(HD)
The Samsung HMX-H100
(HD)
The Sony HDR-CX100
(HD)
The Canon HG10
(HD)
The Canon HFR-100

The Canon HF-100

As you can see all camcorders above can record in HD . I am currently selling my Kodak Zi8 and My Panasonic HDC-SD10K (See my post in the marketplace section of this forum for more information) I am selling them for relatively less than if you were to buy them new, and they are in perfect condition (Personal message me on this forum if you're interested and want more info) I am selling them for well under 1k.
