Recieved my HVX from B&H today

I ordered in late december and it showed up today. UPS really busted up the box, not what you want to see after spending 7k :(
 
I ordered in December from B&H, but I still don't have my camera. I wonder if buying 2 8GB P2 Cards has anything to do with it?

Let us know if you like the camera. How's the image? Can you display it on a large HD TV? Does it blow you away?
 
I got 4gig. When I spoke with B&H they said the Camera actually was in 2 days before the P2 card. So I would think they are probably waiting on your 8gig P2.

I actually was excited by the look and size, really has a solid feel. This weekend I will shoot like crazy, if anything looks good I will post it.

You should get yours any day now. How exciting.
 
I busted their chops the other day and was told they were scheduled to get in 75 units around the 15th of Feb. But their list is 94 long. He said my order date of Jan 13th should be covered, but no guarantees ...

I did however just get my extra 4GB P2 card. Now it just sits there and mocks me ... changes the TV channel without asking and drinks up all of my beer.
 
UPS is the worst. They busted up a roadcase, kino and tubes right in front of my house. Brown hires cavemen I believe. My redneck UPS guy is all juiced up and got some roid rage going on.

UPS: When you absolutely, have to have it destroyed the very next day.
 
My delivery guy sometimes leaves my packages on my back porch without leaving a note. What if I go away one weekene and come back home to find my $10,000 worth of gear sitting in a rain puddle?!?! Damn delivery guys!

I have a lone HVX200 battery sitting on my desk. No camera yet. The battery mocks me and pees all over the toilet seat (huh?)! It has attacked my cat twice. It need to be locked on a charger or camera immediately. Please help B&H!!!
 
I ordered my HVX in the middle of December from B&H and got it today. Mine arrived in perfect condition from UPS. I've had more problems from FedEx than UPS. But I'm not going to defend them. I've just had good luck with them I guess.

I too plan on doing all kinds of stuff this weekend with my HVX. I plan on shooting a bunch of stuff and doing a lot of tests in post with FCP. Especially color correction.

Trust me guys, you'll get yours very soon. I really thought I'd be waiting until next month before I would get mine but here it is right in front of me. :shocked:
