Recent Firmware update

I noticed that the recent Aug. 5 firmware update is numbered 9-30. Is this different from the July update numbered 9-28?

I noticed that the firmware update for my HPX-500 which came out in July was updated about two weeks after it first came out so maybe the 300 update needed the same.
