I just went and got the mail, and wouldn't you know it, I received recall notice on my 2000 Ford Explorer EB.

Nothing like the wording of this recall:

"Potential underhood fire risk".........""a fire could occur at any time, even with the key not in the ignition"........."Until your vehicle is repaired, please park your vehicle away from structures...."

Okay, my appointment is on Thursday 10:00am. That got my attention.
 
Well seems like there is a "potential underhood fire risk"
Good luck with your car..or whatevers wrong with it..haha
 
Anybody remember the Pontiac Fiero? Those were a major fire hazard! I have seen a few that have caught on fire, and there isn't much left afterwords.
 
They always make those things sound worse than they are. I had one like that for a same year F150. I took it in and they put a 50 cent ground wire on the wiper motor. Man did I feel safe after that. :|
