The Japanese are BRILLIANT at marketing. It is Nikon and Canon who thought to highlight their coatings S.S.C., S.C., .etc. Fluorite, Super Integrated and Nano.
Engineering is not the only reason they are so successful.
I don't know why people get anything out of Fake Chuck Westfall, it's just a stupid tirade. It's not funny or witty or half intelligent.

Exactly I don't understand why some people in the thread had gotten anything out of this guy either, his blog is a humourless waste dump of hate.

I'm not trying to stir up trouble by starting a debate on this BS so feel free to clean up the thread and remove what I highlighted now people have seen for themselves what a dick this Fake Chuck Westfall guy is.

There has been similar homophobic and racist 'joking' going down on the RED forum, which almost resulted in the Other Cameras section being pulled. In return for the favour of Jim giving them a voice in the first place, what exactly are these idiots giving RED in return? A load of BS comments which have nothing to do with camera technology and which no company would want themselves associated with.

The more a camera company is open to their users, the more they have to put up with boneheads and hate brimming arguments unfortunately. Very sad.
