Im in need to shoot some Interlaced reality look footage.. something i havent shot with my HVX (and original HVX202 not an A model) before and am trying to come up with a scene file setting that will work. Its to be cut in as B roll on a show shoot 99% IMX50 XDCAM 50i.

Here's what i've got so far, this is a setting i tried out last week on a sunny day. It came out nice however the blacks were still too crushed for mine an the editors liking.

DVCPRO50 - 50i

Video Cam
Detail Level: +3
V Detail Level: 0
Detail Coring: +1
Chroma Level: +2
Master Ped: 0
Gamma: HD Norm
Knee: MID
Matrix: Norm1

Everything else is set to 0

Im guessing i need to bump up the Master Ped a little, any tips how high before the blacks go milky? +2 +3?

Detail coring i think also needs to come down, but im not sure how far.

Chroma Level is good, although might bring it down depending on how sunny a day it is. With clouds out +2 is nice but when that sun comes out everything pops a bit to much.

Gamma, Knee and Matrix im happy with as they are all set pretty standard.

Im going to shoot some more tests soon but thought i'd try get some input from the forum.

Cheers
