REAL liveview hack?

Hi,

I´ve been browsing through this inmense forum section and I could not find an answer to my question, so here it goes.

When I´m filming with the GF1 and I change the exposure the image on the LCD remains the same but I can see the exposure bar moving to let me know if it is under or overexposed...is there a way to make the LCD actually display the exact same image you´re filming while you´re filming it? (like it would be on a regular videocamera).

cheers

Rafa

i have set it to M mode but it still doesn't show me the exact image that I'm getting. Should I have checked something on the hack?

On the GH1, in still mode (all settings), the same thing occurs, hack or no hack. In video mode, it is more or less accurate (as Tonpole said: always use the meter). My understanding is that you can't turn the compensation off. Perhaps this is true on the GF1 while filming video also?
