real funky- 16GB CF only holds 4GBs?

I have some 32GB, 16GB, 8GB and 4GB lexar cards that work fine- but for some reason- my 16GB extreme IV only holds 4GB's (its a 16GB card) and then the camera says "Card Full"- but when I open the card on my computer, it clearly says its a 16GB card. Im pretty sure I have formatted it a few times, anything I can do to fix this or is it just a faulty card? Thanks!

if that doesn't work there is most likely compatibility issue

You may have formated it on your PC and introduced a 4Gb file size limitation. Try formating in the camera.

Also, deleting with the computer can leave a recycling bin on the card that uses up space.

Or, its possible that its a counterfit card. Its possible to take a cheap, small card and make it look like a bigger card until you use it.

Thanks for the suggestions- its possible the card has been formatted on a PC.
