I showed this video to our football team the day before our first game, then to the entire school at a pep rally the next week.

It's just a preview of what this season should be like.

Filmed entirely on DVX100a, dolly shots and glidecam. Turned out pretty exciting.

I thought it started out a little bit slow but picked up and become pretty good in the end.

What frame rate and shutter speed did you shoot the game clips on?
 
Did you use an adapter for the footage of the game and the coach firing up the team?

Great job and I think it looked awesome.
 
I was afraid it was going to be a bunch of Ferners with a soccer ball ;) The images were beautiful, and yes it did start out slow, but it was very well done. My only complaint is about the spinning shots. There were a few places I started to get dizzy, but I can't get over how well you shot it overall.
 
Yeah I'd been wanting to do that "Tradition" montage for awhile... it may have been a little drug out.

I didn't use any adapters or anything, didn't even do any CC or anything else in post. It's just pure DVX.

Yeah I had the coach mic'd up so I was able to stand far back and zoom in getting the DOF I wanted.
