REAL cinema anamorphics on the 5d mark 2!

Thanks to my friend Steve Morton, I now have an adapter that can accept my lomo roundfront anamorphics on EOS cameras. I just got it in today so no footage yet but I will try to get some in soon.

The adapter goes from oct-19 to EOS, so I can use all of my roundfront anamorphics that have not yet been converted to PL mount (I guess you could also use regular oct-19 primes and zooms too). SO excited about this as you can get the full anamorphic gate size on the 5d mark 2 sensor. (pardon the iphone pictures...)

UPDATE
FOOTAGE (pardon the sloppiness, no cc, just de-squeezed in shake);

i am so jealous of all your gear! :D

it's a surprise that cinema lenses cover the full frame. or are you taking into account the horizontal crop you'd have to do later? would love to see some full frame still photos and of course video as well :)

i am getting my pl mount soon. LOL pull focus with anamorphic and watch that bokeh appear....... Can we have a pull focus test please...

Just shot some footage today, I will post it on monday (my compter isnt at home)- looks good though, these lenses are sharp.

ZaZa- Im not sure what lenses I will shoot with yet, most likely not anamorphic for practical reasons- but I may mix in a few shots.

The 50mm is pretty small, id say about 28mm- But the 75mm nearly covers the whole sensor. As you know of course, the 5dmark 2 sensor is much larger than 35mm anamorphic gate, but because its tall enough- you can get the same fov as using them on film camera- so no cropping/magnification factor-pretty cool!

Could you point out the 75mm amongst your shots please?

Do you think you would be able to get this adapter on a 7D?

Love the first window shot with the brown wall. The video looks great.
