so, I need opinions from people who know their stuff...

T2i VS GH2...which would you go with? (For filmmaking)
 
I'd say GH2 simply for the fact that it has a nice evf that you can use during shooting,an artriculating screen, less moire and aliasing, better hdmi output for monitoring, longer record times, no overheating issues, you can use just about any lense you want, etc etc. The rest would just be opinion on how the picture looks - both look really good and have their strengths and weaknesses.
 
Thanks! I do own the GH1 (GH13) now and wanted to update, just not sure which way to go. It seems like everywhere you go on the net, people are always pushing Canon...

Yeah Canon has an incredibly large marketing machine. All their latest advertising leans heavily toward the video aspect... and the cameras ARE good...I've seen great shots from all of them. I just think that if you want to go right away without a bunch of add ons...the GH2 makes sense, but you know that being a GH1 user. I had one myself and with the 14-140, you could really just start shooting just like a video camera and do set up stuff with minimal hassle.
