Readjust WB when going from sun to shade?

Lets say you've already white balanced for a sunlit shot, but then you're forced to take other shots under the shadow of a building.

What do you normally do? Do you bother with a quick re-balance or just keep shooting?

Oh, come on... there's more than 13 of you that shoot outdoors. ::) :) ;D

In my short experience...

If going from sunny to in the shade of some object (in other words, not shade caused by a cloud or other overcast conditions) there won't be much of a white point change.

If, on the other hand, a cloud moves across the sun or cloud cover causes you to go from sunny to overcast light quality there will be a change in white point that needs to be addressed.

Take this with lots of salt: I've only shot 6 tapes of footage. :)

Thanks, that's an interesting observation.
