Reading scene files from SD card

So I've read some threads on how to get scene files from the SD to the camera and something still isn't working for me. I've tried dropping the text files right to the card..didn't work. I've tried saving existing HVX files to the SD, then have gone in through the string of folders and replace the text files with the ones that I wanted. Does anybody have a detailed step by step for this or have any idea why it's not working for me. Thanks.

Read the "readme" text that Barry included in his CD in the back of book.
It gives a good step-by-step detail. One thing I found out: you must have the
camera in P2 mode to do the scene-file procedure. Then, if you want to shoot
mini-DV, you can change back. But you can't do scene file work while in tape mode...

One reason it might not be working is ifyou've got a Japanese camera and you're trying to use US scene files, or if you have a US camera and are trying to use PAL scene files.

Look at the first line (or two) in the text file where it shows the model number; save scene files from your HVX and then compare that first line with the first line in the scene file you're trying to use. If they're not the same (i.e., they both have to say HVX200P or HVX200T, but you can't have one that says HVX200P and the other say HVX200T because that won't work).
