Re: Wedding Video // Zeiss Batis 25 + ClearImage Zoom + A7S
Thought some of you might be interested in this.
We used the original A7S with the Zeiss Batis 25 and ClearImage Zoom (in FF and Crop) to film this wedding.
The ClearImage Zoom really helped us to get different focal lengths very quickly (almost instantaneously) and without having to stop recording. This helped us to miss less of the action and to tell more of the story as it unfolded in front of us.
Most of shots was using the setup as mentioned above.
The only shots not using this setup are:
- Wedding Ceremony, over the shoulder of bride: A7S + Rokinon 24 F1.4 + ClearImageZoom
- Groom changing into clothes: A7S + Rokinon 24 F1.4 + ClearImageZoom
- Drone shot: DJI Phantom 3
- Zip Line Selfie Shot: A5100 + Sony 10-18mm F4 OSS
- One short wide shot of Groom's Speech talking about how he gets emotional: A7S + Rokinon 24 F1.4 + ClearImageZoom
