Has anyone tried editing a project via a thunderbolt external hard drive?
I'm also curious to know how tbe following configurations perform:
SCENARIO 1: FCPX installed onto internal hard drive + footage on thunderbolt drive.
SCENARIO 2: Both FCPX and footage are on the thunderbolt drive.
You may indicate if the above thunderbolt drive is in non-RAID or in RAID 0.
Are drive numberings fixed with thunderbolt as well? I plan on having all of my external footage be on thunderbolt but I'm not sure if fcpx should be installed on thunderbolt as well and if it should be on the same drive?
