Re: Sony NEX-FS100 // Revisited

I was going over some old material about the old NEX-FS100.

And apparently it can do 4:4:4 8-bit via HDMI v1.4

Are there any recorders on the market today that will accept this single via HDMI?

This would be an interesting option for low cost color grading!

Where did you read that? I thought it was limited to 8-bit 4:2:2, but not entirely sure.

The O7q+ can definitely take the HDMI from the FS100, and I'm sure many other can too like the Shogun/Ninja. Whichever recorder you go for make sure you find one that has recording start/stop over HDMI for the FS100 (the O7q + does).
