Re: Sony A9 // Object Tracking on Gimbal?

Anyone know how the Sony A9 performs (or will perform) using Object Tracking when on a Gimbal?

I know it doesn't have LOG or Picture Profiles, but I'm curious how well it will do since it is supposedly 25% more intelligent than the A7RII.

It's being released in a few days...I want to rent one soon and I'll let you know, but earlier tests will probably start popping up sooner.

I briefly tried the A9 in the store today with the FE 16-35 F4 OSS lens and the AF shows lots of promise!!!

It was very responsive and snappy!!!! The only concerning thing is that I could not get Lock-On AF to work while recording video.

Also the noticeable reduced rolling shutter was impressive!!!!
