Provia 100 is my favorite slide film, and illford delta 100 is my favorite black and white. When I was still printing, I only used illford warmtone papers.
I always thought it was funny that I hated all of kodaks still films, yet Vision is the only motion film I would ever shoot.
First light carefully as mentioned earlier
use AE.
import footage
place in new comp
duplicate footage
add soft light blend mode to top footage
add brightness&cont + hue&sat filters to bottom footage
adjust master saturation lower
increase contrast
should be able to get something close to what you want
after some adjustments.
i have before/after example which can email but not post

Really? I also like Provia 100 the best, for whatever reason then personal taste, but it was so easy shooting BW with HP5, i just forgot all about the others. I used to shoot some TriX too... I Know nothing about film socks though, and even less when talking about motion picture film...
