Can we use Micro 4/3 Olympus Lenses on the GH3?

Will the GH3 detect the lens and control the Aperture?

I have the Olympus 60mm macro m4/3 and all features work great with the GH4. You will have full control just like a panasonic lens.

Just keep in mind that only Panasonic lenses (not all of them) have OIS and Olympus lenses do not have image stabilization. If you are considering two similar lenses from Panasonic & Olympus, the OIS on the Panasonic lens may be an important factor when you use the GH3 body.

Olympus and Panasonic are both Micro Four Thirds manufacturers, so both lenses will conform to that standard. Note any extras on top of that standard will not be supported, eg aperture rings on Panasonic lenses.

Auto-focus works fine when doing photograply with the Olympus macro on the GH4. When shooting for a 1080p project I find that the macro shots look stunning when shot in 4k and downsized.
