Up for sale is a used Konova K3B2 32" slider.
I bought this from another dvxuser in the early Fall of last year for my 7D and am now in need of a heavier duty unit for larger camera systems.
It's still in excellent cosmetic condition with normal, minor wear where the tripod head mounts.
Provided that this unit is paired with only lighter tripod heads and cameras like DSLR's and smaller camcorders, smooth slides will be able to be achieved.
Because the track is so narrow, use with heavier setups can lead to imbalance, making shots unstable -- though not unusable if panning and titling is not required.
The 3/8" bolt appears to have developed some wobble in its seat. I used cotton (couldn't find washers of the correct size) to secure its position in the slide block's mounting plate. It no longer wobbles.
The slider comes with its carry bag, 2 all-terrain feet and their carry pouches, pliers, a wrench, 2 cleaning bars/end stops and a small tube of lubricant.
Takes 3/8" tripod heads.
