I just got an email from someone who damaged their D4 from using it in the rain. I'm still getting details about weather conditions and lens used, but how much weather sealing does the D4 have? Compared to the 1Dx?

He also said Nikon refused to fix it because they don't guarantee that it can meet their high standards.

This is quite hard to say in any measurable way, but it should be pretty top notch. Watched my brother shoot with it and a 24-70 in hard raining yesterday without any problems.
 
Using a little common sense while shooting goes a long way.

I don't care how weather sealed a camera may be. If I'm shooting in the rain, I bag the camera.
