I know the technical differences, but in terms of user experience, which would you go for and why? Does having one moving arm in the SmoothShooter really that hindering?

PS: I've owned a Steadicam Pilot and did not like it and I am not willing to spend extra money for the Scout. I find the symmetric build of the Glidecam to give it better overall balance. And I have the Merlin already for operating in really tight spaces.
