re-gh13 autofocus woes

Dear all,
I'm in creative movie mode, with af switched to afc (I believe it's continuous in movie mode anyway). I have the area of focus box centre screen, and when I move the camera, it tracks focus pretty well. When I drop into record, the box disappears and the camera stops autofocusing.

I'm finding the manual pretty poor on this front. Any help much appreciated.

p.s. 14-45 panny kit lens, lpowell peak rate hack (which is epic btw)

Are you using 1080 FHD when it does not autofocus?...If so You need to update your lense firmware...the 14-45 was designed originally for Gf1 that does not have FHD updating the lense firmware will make it AF with FHD.
Dont worry when updating lense firmware btw It wont affect your hack. Lense firmware and body firmware are two seperate entities. ;-)

Update like you would any other firmware.
Hopefully this is the problem...if not im clueless as youve got your settings correct.
