Does the IPB recording format in 1080p cause more aliasing than ALL-I?

I took the camera out for a spin recording at 1080@30p IPB and I see a bit of aliasing on stairs (far shot), hand railings (medium shot!).

These are elements that my T2i doesn't even alias. Is there something I'm missing?
 
Nevermind, it was because I was using Quicktime to view the footage and the player was not set to full screen, meaning it had to "shrink" the pixels from the footage which artificially caused aliasing. The footage is in fact very clean!
