FS5: Raw update

Hi

Im just wondering if anyone has heard any rumours about he upcoming fs5 raw update.

I was very excited about this feature before but after hearing all the problems with the linear 12 bit raw from the fs7 via the xdca unit, I am worried that the fs5 will have the same problem? I was really hoping for at least fs700 performance :(.

Has anyone heard anything to say otherwise?
 
Should be this year but I haven't heard when. It also might be a paid upgrade, but could end up being free.

As for the problems, I have not personally tested it but I have seen some great footage from FS7 with RAW so I think the jury is still out. If you expose to the right, and you are not trying to max out the sensor DR it should make perfect images. Don't sweat it, and maybe you can test it out first at your dealer with one of their upgraded FS5 with RAW once it becomes available.

I don't have any links bookmarked but surely there will be plenty in the FS7 vimeo group. I'd start there. Maybe others will post some here.
