GH4 RAW support for GH4 RAW still files….

Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom don't support the GH4 Raw yet. The only method I found was to use the SilkyPix Developer Studio program that came on a disc with the camera. It's got an awkward GUI but I did manage to convert some RAWs to JPGs. I hope that Adobe updates their compatibility soon.

Yeah, I tried my version of SilkyPix that came with my GH2 - did not work. I downloaded the latest trial of SilkyPix and that did not work either….
I normally shoot hundreds of photos per day, so I need Photoshop to process RAW stills.

I have the same problem. I opened up my raw files with sillypix and the images look grainy and have this weird pinkish/purplish tinge to them. Completely unusable at this point

The next major update to Premiere Pro is supposed to be compatible with the GH4 video. We may see the same with Photoshop and RAW stills.

Premiere Pro is working fine with the GH4 video already on my end. It seems the quandary is just with the RAW stills....

Cool.

All the various MP4 varieties?

I haven't tried MP4 but can report that C4K, 4K and 1080P/200 MOV are all fine in Premiere.
BTW, since C4K and 1080P are different aspect ratios, what's the correct Premiere workflow to have both of those in sequence and render out to 1080P or 1440P as exports? Should the sequence settings be based off the C4K file or the 1080P file?

Adobe is THE fastest in terms of RAW support. Wait for a couple of weeks? Or see if there's a RC in the pipeline.

RawTherapee opened the raw file from GH4, but it was a VERY strange color, I managed to get one graded close to something acceptable, the others were turned to black and white. Looks like I'll be shoot jpeg for at least a little bit...
