Rats with wings, a documentary screengrabs

I wanted to share some screen grabs from a project I'm working on, I'm mostly focusing on DPing and just shooting what's available with what I have. All natural light, run & gun, handheld with the spiderbrace and a rocker.

I'd love any feedback about colouring, framing and so forth. I've got a lot more learning left to do, but I'd like to know how things are comning so far.

Didn´t like the compressed blacks, but that´s personal choice...
Which mode did you shoot? 720p? Did you dial down the chroma level?
BTW, are you located in Europe?
Please share some moving images, this looks interresting...
 
I'm located in San Francisco, all of the shots are in and around that city.

I haven't done much with colour, nor the chroma level as I know NOTHING about colour - I'm focusing on framing right now, but this is about the right time to start getting into those extra details on my camera. I wanted to really feel like I understand framing and composition, and then move into making my colours pop.

I'm turning in a short for a documentary contest on the 5th of Oct, so I will post that here when it's complete. I have hours of footage, but nothing edited yet. Still trying to figure out how to pull out the story.
