Ratatouille

[Phil Maker]

What a beautiful movie! Everyone go out and see this movie. Follow the subtext and you will be moved. Bravo!

[Rick Meyer]

Yeah but is it FUNNY?

I was/am really looking forward to this. I have been anxiously waiting for this ever since I discovered Brad Bird (The Incredibles) was working on this. I can't wait!

[Erik Olson]

Before Bird did Incredibles he made a little diddy called Family Dog.

e

[Kirk Gillock]

Three words: The Iron Giant

Can't wait to see his latest.

[Weston]

I just got back from watching it. Its a fantastic movie. Definately the most beautiful animated movie I've seen. Pixar just keeps getting better.

I loved the Incredibles and this is right on par with that. Brad Bird is great.

[Rick Meyer]

I can't wait to see this. I hear nothing but fantastic things! I am absolutely in love with The Incredibles. So, if this is ON PAR with that, well then I'm sold!

[Brandon Rice]

Same.... I am seeing it tonight.

[DarkMatter]

Isn't there a pixar/disney section for all these animated movies that aren't films?

[Rick Meyer]

I don't follow the question?

[Brandon Rice]

hehe, me neither... animated films are films too!

[DarkMatter]

Films generally contain real people or animals, or a mixture of animation and people ie. Cool World, Who framed Roger Rabbit, Mary Poppins, ect... Voices don't count. And while I hold movies like The Incredibles in high esteem they did not originate on film and are therefore NOT films, That includes movies shot in HD, good movies not Films. Though they are closer to films than these animations will ever be in comparison.

[Brandon Rice]

LOL... I can't believe you posted that...

[Simon Höfer]

OMG.. I can't believe it either.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film <-- Interesting

[Brandon Rice]

Film is a term that encompasses individual motion pictures, the field of film as an art form, and the motion picture industry. Films are produced by recording images from the world with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or special effects.

And there you have it

oh, and by the way, Ratatouille was FANTASTIC!

[Sven]

I took my son to see it over the weekend. Excellent movie. Pixar never ceases to amaze me. As far as the animation not being a film subject, Just watch the camera movements and tell me its not a film.

[spidey]

awesome and fun.

[triplej96]

Yep it was great fun!

[DarkMatter]

And there you have it

oh, and by the way, Ratatouille was FANTASTIC!

And there I have what WIKIPEDIA? LOL, Once again common sense is taken over by the mindless masses. I'm sure Ratatouille is a good movie but don't try to convince me that it is a film with Wikipedia!!! That joke is too funny.

[Phil Maker]

Nothing is a film anymore. They're all shot on HD.

[chuck coburn]

Nothing is a film anymore. They're all shot on HD.

Well damn... there goes Panavision and Arriflex as they won't be able to survie on just their video cameras.
