Random Weekend Grabs

[BryantStanton]

Recently purchased Vegas and wanted to give it a go with some new footage, so I roamed about yesterday afternoon with some friends to get some footage.

Unfortunately, I only have a one hour battery currently (others died) so i didn't get much footage, but I figured I'd throw up a few grabs anyway. Let me know what you think.

Random clock on the side of a bank. As you can see, the clock isn't working too well.

Long Beach from a few miles off.

Palm tree.

My personal favorite of the bunch, sunset on a local hill.

They're a bit grainy, but I screwed up the compression process and was too lazy to start over. If anyone is interested in seeing some footage I can toss it up here in the next day or so.

Footage? sure. And yes, that last shot take's the cake... I also like the long beach shot, though...

I liked the clock and the last one..

though the last one has a lot of.. chromatic aberration? or something? I don't know how you write it, but it has a lot of purple edges..

I was noticing that too. I don't know if it's from the CC of the compression though. I'll throw a video together with some other footage I have a post it up sometime today.

EDIT:
I should probably toss this in the Vegas forum, but by any chance does anyone know an effective compression method for posting online? I have one version that looks great... but it's 1.6 gigs and less than 30 seconds. Any suggestions?
