Just got my cam. Some shots outdoors, indoor available light, then an interview with 60p slowdown. Default settings, no CC, but I did decrease the brightness overall.

It was on F6. Off the top of my head almost everything is at 0, pedestal at -1, cinegamma, cinematrix.

Nice, but there is a lot of noise... is it because of the compression or the HVX will make that much noise at his best ?

i doubt i'm using the hvx to its "best", but the compression is introducing some compression artifacts. i don't notice any more noise than my dvx. i'm pretty sure its even cleaner- at least to my original dvx. using matrix normal I hear also reduces apparent noise. shooting higher f stops also reduce noise

Are we looking at the same footage? Looked VERY clean to me. I didn't notice any noise actually.

Not bad for a quick test. Very impressive for indoor available light.

Nice footage. Acid Planet is a great resource. Alot of times you can find incredible soundtracks there, and the artists are generally happy if something is asked to be used in a film, etc.
