Random Fight Scene 2

wow, nice choreography and editing.

What was your workflow? What camera, what you use for sounds? What color correction?

thank you. the fight scenes were simply thrown together on cue.. we had not rehearsed anything as you can plainly tell lol. shot on a DVX100b edited on and color corrected with my editing program Newtek Speededit (I have never met anyone else who edits with this software.) sound design we simply held our shotgun mic to each character and made grunts, chest hits, face slaps, and a few others. I know the fight isnt well dont at all, but i just love to shoot hundreds of shots and edit them up together.

Don't sell yourself short. I may just be a n00b at this so far, but what i'm not a n00b at is watching a ton of movies.

I mean honestly ive seen worse fight scenes on actual movies and way worse on tv shows.

Sure you over or underacted here and there, but overall i was really impressed for something you just threw together. The hits and reactions were timed just right and thats one of the main things that adds to it, also your sound effects were reasonable to which helps. I've done boxing so i know what it looks like and feels like to get hit, and most of your stuff was within the realm of plausible. Thats the trick really, doesn't have to look 100% real, as long as its close enough our brains and imaginations will take us the rest of the way. :)

Write a story, plan your fight out a little more and make a short. Im really anxious to see what you can do with it, I will definetly be taking notes.
