Ramping, maybe possible?

I was thinking that while we cannot ramp the HVX in production (crank up the speed/framerate as we shoot), maybe we could in post production. If we shoot a 60p image and in post loose a few frames (let's assume 36) we would have a regular speed image right? Alright, the shutter would be fixed a little higher than usual, around 1/120, but that way couldn't we do simple ramps in post that look pretty accurate? Seems a real simple alghorythm to me... (meaning, if they can do Doom 3, I'm sure someone could make it happen - hopefully with a easy to use interface...)

Did someone already think about that and made one?

Yes, as in not perfect, but will it look all that bad? I mean, we've been software ramping video for ever now. Sure with a lot of interpolation, but with manageable results. Doing that to a 60p timeline should not be all that difficult, and should not look that bad. Well, maybe. But I'll take the experts word for it then... - Until I have an HVX! :D

Cheers!
