Ok, so I've got tomorrow morning booked to re-shoot the ending. Once that is done I will be glad. I'll get the new cut with the new ending and see how it looks.

Herman has sound files already for score and design. Don't know if he has already started work or not. I hope to have this thing done sooner, rather than later... just to make sure I finish it. And, I'm likely leaving the country around the time the films all go live, so I don't want to have any excuses.

Got the ending re-shot today. Put it in it's place in the edit. I'm real happy with the new (original) ending so far.

Still have a lot of work to do on audio and score. That's where Herman will come in. he's going to handle the score and all of the sound design, so that is awesome.

Jason, congratulations on getting the shooting and initial edit done. I would say I am envious, (read the rest in melodramatic super villain voice) but I still have the anticipation of getting to film while all you have now is the aftertaste of a meal now finished. Muh ha ha ha!
No really, way to get after it. We don't start filming until after the new year. Stupid holidays.

Thanks, man... You're right. Now, it's just kinda waiting on sound from Herman.... twiddling my thumbs... I'm uploading a couple of things now for updates for Herman.

That's gonna be one thing that'll suck if I finish too early... an...tica----pation...

I posted a photo of the camera we got for the project. It's at the beginning of the thread. I am fairly certain we will have the oldest camera in the fest. I'm also busting out a Bell and Howell and possibly even the Ektasound 130.
Seriously though, I'm really amazed at the speed with which you accomplished your project and I'm anxious to see the relationship between the banner and the film... If it goes where I am afraid it looks to be going, it will likely be difficult for me to watch. Too close to home?

heh, heh. If I guessed, I would say you used that little banner upload thingy at the bottom of the edit signature section....

If so, you'll find it much easier to just post the image of your banner in the text box like you would post any image in a normal post.

Then, click the image to highlight it, and click this button
createlink.gif
Then paste the url for your thread in the box that comes up.

That should make it easier for you if you are having trouble.

I'm out of town, but the film and all is off with Herman who is working on the score.

Hopefuly in a few days, I'll have a 1st cut on the score. Sounds like something happened it my export with the audio though and some stuff is out of sync, so when I get back into town, I'll have to look at that and resend anything I need to so he can do the sound design.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, it's killing me a bit. I'm back... sort of... back in the state but not at my comp in high speed internet land yet. I've got to see what happened with the audio Herman reported issue with. Other than that, he should be pretty close to a first cut on the score and that is exciting.

Herman resolved the audio sync issue. Apparently a software issue on his end or something.

Anyways, I've got the first draft of the score sitting on a server waiting for me. I'm going to head back to broadband land today to download and check it out.
