Nice work, and as usual, great composition.

The whites of the girl's eyes in the first one are a little too pink though, almost a tad distracting. I'de desat those just a touch.

In the third pic, the girl is just a damn cutie, and that is all there is to that.

Nice catch, I'm on it! The edge of her eyelids have that natural pink tone, I just got so used to it, I couldn't see it.

Thanks guys!

Everything looks absolutely fabulous....here it comes, But, the girl with the captivating blue eyes and red hair could wear, should wear something less pale. That is my opinion, but has nothing to do with your photography. Too much pale stuff going on.

That could be fixed with an Hue and Sat adjustment layer, dropping the saturation and using its layer mask to isolate the background regions as only those affected. That would really make her pop.

Uhhhh, she could change the dress......
It was a comment about her choice, not the photograph, and yes Photoshop is a wonderful thing. Still a very pretty girl and a nice photo.

Her clothing is fine actually. Solid, plain colors work best for actor headshots. She's not a model and it's not distracting. The Agent and Casting Director don't care about her shirt, they want to see "her" and I think we captured her well. Though I do appreciate the input, it does help.

You know it was just a comment, a personal opinion. I love the dress, I love the picture, I love the composition, I love her. I will refrain from any more personal opinions.

very true statement.

its not a modeling picture, its an actors headshots, which i find myself repeating to others again and again, comes some just don't seem to get it. They want to look like a cover girl/boy.

All I need now is Photoshop!

Ha! I thought you had it. With the pictures you are taking, I can't imagine not having it.

You should look into getting an older copy off of Amazon or a site of the like. Even CS1 would be good, and most of the things you would not have in that version, you wouldn't need initially, and by the time you did, you would be well versed and have enough saved from your work to upgrade.

That's what I did with my first version of Photoshop and After Effects.

Either way, stellar work.

Thanks man, I do have a copy of PS7.0 but I don't use it. I only use NX. But you're right, I need to learn it. My only concern is that I can't open a raw file in PS, I have to convert it to a tiff, work on it, then convert it back. it gets weird and confusing for me and I think I lose quality. So I just use NX for now. Thoughts?

Thanks!
