Rain on Me

Hey all,

Just wrapped up the latest music video shoot. We ran into a lot of problems but in the end, we got the product done.

I'm a little torn over this video, because I love the color correction and the rain but I'm a little mad over the repetitiveness of the video. We had a bunch of storyline scenes lined up, including a church scene, but people kept backing out at the last minute, so the artist and myself decided we would just work with what we have and save for the next video.

Plus, this was done with a $100 budget, so I guess it's okay for that amount of money!

Anyways, we used the DVX100b, a black backdrop, a bunch of tota and pro lights from Lowel.

Feedback is appreciated!

The shots look great! It got repetitive but not too much to the point where it was annoying, I watched and liked the whole thing. The song was good also, that rain scene came out great, I remember seeing the pics on how you did it. The lighting was nice to, what Lowell kit did you use? Good job!

I think total, I had 3 tota lights and a pro light. I bought them over time seperaratley.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and it has eased my fears a little bit over the video. I'm working on the next one and I know for sure that one is going to be great!

Regular balanced for tungsten.

I just color corrected it with Magic Bullet to give it that blue tint. As for the water, I just sprayed the window down with a hose and had a Lowel pro light (un-gel'd) shining through.
