Does anyone make a radio remote controlled Pan Tilt Zoom head that is suitable for mounting the EX1?
My application is concert recording. We have four cameras, two in the balcony, one at stage right and another at stage left.
A complete setup that I envision would include RF video transmitters from each camera, enabling a console backstage to see each camera's FoV. Joysticks would drive a series of radio transmitters with pan tilt zoom information, enabling a director to choreograph the shots with complete control.
Our current method with 2-way radios and a crew with their own ideas on framing is producing results that frustrate me. I want to control all the normally-manned cameras from backstage with a console that has four monitors and four joysticks.
I've not found much info on such a system. Surely it must exist. I found PTZ units on eBay, but no radio control. Any ideas?
