Here are a couple of grabs from my first short film. Its an action - comedy. I posted the trailer a while back. Right now I'm printing trap sleeves and Discs to sell to a few friends.

It's a 30 min short, I did a commentarty, a few of the actors did a commentary on the DVD. It's all pretty funny, there's some really silly bonus features in the DVD. The backwards coldplay video I posted a while back. Anyways ... check em out!

Hey I saw the trailer awhile back, it looked pretty damn funny. I am from the Vancouver area, anyway I could grab a copy, or trade videos?

Yeah, we can totally trade. I'd be down to see what you got going on. I'm also selling copies for $10. But I'd be down to trade if you had something similar in length. Let me know. They should be done tuesday / wed.

Thanks. That's about the only really nice artistic shot in the film. ;)
But I've realised something ... the secret to independent filmmaking. Wanna know it?? ... ...
...make comedies.
It's fantastic. Like this film here .. the film is great because it's funny. There are a few really artistic parts, some parts where the editing, and music I wrote and what's on screen fall beautifully together. But there are parts that are just horrid. The beautiful parts make the film better ... and the horrid parts just make it more funny.
So I'm going to do comedies while I learn. I know I'm funny ... so I'll always have a great film. As soon as I make on that is full of beautiful shots I know I'm cool to make a dramatic film, or more artistic film.

The my friend, is the new secret to indie filmmaking ... make comedies. ;)
