Hello all,

Haven't been around much, just too many irons on the fire I guess. About the last time I was posting, I think Barry Green was telling me how there would never be a DVX with 16x9 progressive scan ccd's, nore 24p HD and a few more never would bee's :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG). But rather then going into all of that technical stuff, I thought it'd be fun to show off some other "Bee's" that I was shooting last weekend .

I bought my DVX100a a few years back to do some of this stuff for our company, but mostly to do outdoor videography for myself and my own pleasure. Well, I have yet to take a week or more off to get into the wild so to speak, but I do shoot alot of R/C flying, most of which is outdoors, so it's not bad at all. In fact, I like it quite alot and really do have fun doing it.

Anyways, enough about me, I just thought I'd post a quick link to this little "teaser" video for you guys to make fun of... Which is fine with me as it was very fun to do. These are the "Bee's" I was referring to in my little poke at my friend Barry. These little 48" flying wings are not powered by anything but a slight toss and updrafts. What their pilots are doing here is called combat, yes it's true, they actually try to hit each others airplane with theirs in an attempt to knock them out of the sky. It is really fun to watch and much more fun to do. If you ever have an opportunity to watch this in person, do, it is alot of good fun and actually very pretty with all of those colors flinging around your head -- Sometimes literally!

Take a look HERE to see it and some of the stuff I mostly do with my DVX100a.

Take care all and hello to Barry and Jarred and some of the other old timers here.

-Rodger
